To cut a long backstory short I'll simply say this: I was living in London, had a good job but all my friends moved back home to Brighton I kept on with the good job because it was good Then I was made redundant so I moved back home.
*gasps for breath*
There are many good things about living at home (free food, little or no rent, washing machine etc.) and those things are great. I really appreciate them. However, the bad points keep creeping up at me and getting so much on my tits I may just go insane.
My own place: Nil - Living at home - 1
For one my mum, her boyfriend, his son, my brother, his girlfriend and all his mates smoke. I've lived for the past 18 months in a completely smoke free house. My pubs are all smoke free and I love that. However I'm not home, in my living room and kitchen and they STINK. I mean they smell. Bad. Hell it's not even as if they open a window or anything and I'm the bloody odd one out here.

My second point will soon be rectified once all of my stuff is back down from London but I currently have to share the TV. This is picky I know but I used to be master and commander of my own media domain. My PC & Xbox are both connected up to a nice big monitor and my DVD collection is close at hand so that I can watch or play whatever I want, whenever I want. Loosing this power is infuriating and that is quite scary.

Thirdly, is the internet. Thankfully this will also soon not be a problem as I'm highjacking the phone line and bringing my broadband subscription down here but at this moment I have to use a dodgy wireless connection. I LOVE wires. Wires mean that nothing (aside from wire cutters) can get in the way of your intertubes. Having all the bandwidth to myself is so good it's slightly scary and here... well my laptop is currently not accepting the internet so I'm on an old PC in my mum's boyfriend's office.
My own place: 3 - Yahdee yahdee yaddah.
Ok rant over. Having my own place is far superior and I'm going a little doolally at the moment so I thought I'd tappy-type it out.
Oooh! My mum keeps buying nice ice cream and other tasty foodstuffs... this sounds good but I'm getting podgy again so it's bad.

Not Really News
Someone may have read my blog today. As this does not usually happen I thought it news worthy.
That is all.
